It has always been important to us to source ingredients locally (some are grown on our very own grounds) and support local businesses. It’s about doing things the traditional way – good old fashioned, home made bakes and meals with produce you know and trust. It tells in our menu – traditional, seasonal choices with some all time classics which we can never change (such as our Scouse!)
We are proud to use Henllan Bakery for all the very best loaves to make our delicious sandwiches. They do some amazing cakes and treats too. Check them out below
We are proud to use Tony Doyle’s Quality Meats who are based in North Wales for the very best pieces of meat! Visit his website below.
Wherever possible, we grow our own fruits and create incredible seasonal dishes as a result. Check out our Strawberries, Raspberries, Black Currants and Apples.
We use our local dairy farmers, The Bellis Brothers just a few minutes up the road in Buckley. Our old school values of knowing your milkman means a lot to us!
We use locally grown Fruit and Vegetables from Goodyears in Hawarden. Check out their produce on their website.
We are particularly proud of our honey which is made from bees kept within the grounds! Once you taste local honey, there is no going back to shop bought versions!
